General Requirements
Applying for a student visa to study in Australia can seem like a daunting task, but there are actually two different streams, depending on your individual circumstances. At Christie Migration Agents, we will guide you through whichever stream is relevant to you. The first stream is the Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP) pathway, which is available for certain citizens of low-risk countries who are applying for their first student visa. If you qualify for SVP, you will have a streamlined application process with less documentation requirements.
The other pathway is the non-streamlined process, which is available for all other applicants. Although the non-streamlined process may take longer and require more documentation, it is still possible to obtain a student visa in Australia as long as you have all the necessary information and supporting materials.
The student visa process in Australia can be a bit daunting, but it's worth it to enrol in one of the country's world-class educational institutions. The first step is to enrol in an accredited course at an Australian school, college or university. Here at Christie Migration Agents, we can help you choose a course and school that will help you meet your career and migration goals. We can assist with enrolments and Overseas Student Health Cover, as well as the student visa process.
Once you've been accepted into a course, you'll need to apply for a student visa. The application process will vary depending on your nationality and the education provider you enrol in, and we can guide you through this process. Once your visa is granted, we can even help you with accommodation providers in Australia.
If we organise your enrolment and student visa, you will also be provided a free consultation with our Registered Migration Agent before your student visa ends to discuss your next steps. Here at Christie Migration Agents, we don’t leave you once your visa is granted, we want to make sure you have the right guidance to go where your career and migration goals lead you.
